완성된 문장 예시!
Two young children, a boy and a girl, are sitting on a soft white rug in a bright and cozy living room. They are deeply focused on building a colorful Lego dinosaur, adding pieces carefully. The boy, wearing a brown T-shirt, is attaching bricks to the dinosaur's back, while the girl, in a beige sweater, is holding onto its head with excitement. Sunlight streams through the large window, illuminating the warm atmosphere. Scattered Lego pieces surround them, showing their enthusiasm for creation and play.

00:00 Okay so picture this you walk into a room and there are LEGO bricks like everywhere and these two kids are just totally focused building this LEGO dinosaur you know and it's like you can feel the energy. 00:09 Absolutely 00:10 actually that scene is straight from this book called Toche Telh, which means dreams made of LEGO children's creativity if you don't read Korean, right? And so we're going to be doing a deep dive on that today and looking at this whole fascinating connection between LEGO and creativity. And I think it's going to kind of blow your mind. 00:33 I think you're right I mean, you know, LEGO is one of those things where it's like such a simple concept but it's had such a huge impact on creativity and learning all over the world 00:42 like for generations. 00:43 Yeah absolutely. 00:44 Okay so in this book there's this story about how in 1974, OK this group of kids in Denmark decided to build this LEGO tower and it ended up being over four meters tall. What like taller than a giraffe oh my God, which is insane 01:02 incredible. 01:03 And they worked on it for days and days and days and eventually even like adults got involved and were helping them. 01:10 That's so cool it's so wild. What a great story 01:13 I know. And so what I think is so cool about that story is that it shows how LEGO can like bring people together and you encourage collaboration right because to build something that big, you have to work together you have to like problem solve 01:31 those engineering skills. Go 01:32 like you're not just like stacking bricks. You're like, you know, 01:36 there's a plan, 01:37 a plan and there's like a sense of accomplishment 01:40 right it's a shared goal. Yes and like the coolest thing is that that event actually like inspired this annual LEGO building competition that happens all over the world. It's incredible. So it just goes to show how impactful that one moment was with those kids building that giant tower. 01:57 I bet those kids were like the heroes of their town. It makes you wonder, you know, those two kids that we were talking about who were building the dinosaur? Hm could they be like future record B 02:07 they could be like it could happen you never know 02:10 So you know, this book also talks about like open ended play. Yes and so like, how does LEGO encourage that kind of play? 02:18 So Leigo is really good at encouraging what we call divergent thinking which is basically coming up with lots of different solutions or ideas. OK and with open ended play, there are no instructions you know, there's no right or wrong answer. It's all about just letting your imagination go wild and experimenting coming up with your own unique creations totally. And that helps kids develop flexible thinking and problem solving skills and that can do attitude that's so important in life. 02:51 It's more about thinking outside the box and less about like, you know, right following the instructions. 02:56 Exactly like if you think about it when you're building something freely with LEGO, you're constantly visualizing and planning and like adapting your design as you go you know, you're using spatial reasoning, which is the ability to think about objects in 3D. That's which is super important for so many things like architecture engineering. Wow even packing a suitcase efficiently. Oh, my gosh, that's spatial reasoning. 03:24 But do you think too much freedom could be kind of overwhelming for some kids? 03:28 That's a good point 03:29 like, is there a chance that like, you know, too many choices could stifle creativity? 03:35 Yeah I mean for some kids having a starting point like a themed set can actually be really helpful. It gives them a framework to build upon and then they can add their own personal touches. You know, it's all about finding that balance between structure and F. And I think sometimes the most creative breakthroughs happen when you break the rules and use the pieces in unexpected ways. 03:58 Yeah okay so like, what does all this mean for us the adults who love LEGO? 04:03 I think the main takeaway here is that LEGO or any kind of construction toy really can teach us a lot about creativity and problem solving no matter how old we are. Like these simple activities can help us tap into our imaginations and think more flexibly and approach problems with more of a playful mindset. 04:23 That's so true. I never thought about it like that. Yeah wow, this has totally changed my perspective on LEGO. 04:27 Here's something to think about you know remember those times you played with LEGO when you were a kid or any other kind of construction toy. Do you think those experiences shaped the way you approach creativity or problem solving today? I mean, it's amazing how those early experiences can have a lasting impact on the way we thing. 04:48 I love that thought. 04:49 Yeah it's pretty cool. It is really cool. Thanks for joining me for this deep dive. 04:53 Oh yeah this was awesome. 04:54 It was fun 04:55 until next time.
